I am a big fan of Stephen Covey, the author of The Seven Principles of Highly Effective People. Earlier this year he launched a new program called The Covey Community, a free online community and learning tool with a goal of “empowering your greatness.” It offers professional development seminars, videos from Dr. Covey himself, a social community to connect with others among common beliefs and vision, an online journal to track your progress, a way to share your journal with others for support or keep it private, a way to track your learning and goals, form groups around a common purpose, and much more! Just launched in February of 2009, The Covey Community already has over 85,000 members from over 200 countries. It is a great example of how an organization can branch out and continue to meet and exceed their customers goals and expectations. Check it out!
